Andorra is located in the south west of Europe. Andorra is bordered by France and Spain and is found in the eastern Pyrenees mountains.
Andorra covers an area of 468km2 and is listed as the sixth smallest nation in Europe. Andorra has 83,889 inhabitants. The capital is Adorra la Vella. The spoken language is Catalan, but Portuguese, French and Spanish are also spoken.
Tourism has made Andorra a fairly wealthy country. Approximately 10.2 million people visit each year. Andorra is also know as a tax haven. Although Andorra is not a member of the European Union, the main currency is the euro.
The climate in Andorra is temperate, but due to it's high elevation Andorra has heavy snowfall and is fairly cool in the summer months. However, Andorra still manages approximately 300 days of sunshine each year.
