Belgium is located in the north west of Europe. The size of Belgium is approximately 30,528 kms2 and has 10.7 million inhabitants. The headquarters of the European union are based here. The capital city is Brussels and their currency is the euro.

There are two main languages spoken in Belgium, Dutch and French. The capital is mainly a French speaking area. However there are small pockets of German speaking communities throughout Belgium.
