VILLA SICULA - what do we offer???

Villa Sicula is a modern villa build on the foundations of a much older dwelling. It is composed of 2 pretty holiday apartments “DOLCE VITA” and “SOLE MIO” and a third one, in which we live in throughout the year.
Our apartments are equiped with central heating, satellite TV, stereo equipment and cosy rooms, where it’s also enjoyful to spend a winter holiday.

As the property is managed by the owners high standards of cleanlinessin- and outside are assumed. We are living the whole year round in VILLA SICULA. We're always available for suggestions and explanations about the "sicilian way of life"... we do also have some pets like 2 dogs, cats, goats and turtles.

We have a wonderful hugh garden with private swimming pool, sunbeds and lots of sittings and a shared bbq.

VILLA SICULA provides an excellent base for you to explore and discover sicily and enjoy the sights and attractions, stunning walks and scenery, amazing local food and drink and blue flag beaches that you’ll find on offer

We’re located in a serene place in the deep south of sicily in the country close to the sea, only 4 km distanced to the town of Marina di Ragusa, destrict of Ragusa. . A barrocc area where the tourism don't play an important part. That makes it easy to discover the "normal" sicilian life and to meet the wonderful local people.
This area of Sicily is famous for both its scenic beauty and historic landscape. The southern face of siciliy is one of low rolling hills, criss crossed with white dry stone walls and dotted with statuesque carob trees under the clear blue sky it is most famous for.

VILLA SICULA - what's around?

Marina di Ragusa is a small old fishing port that surely counts among the most beautiful lidos of sicily. The village bustles with life from middle of juli until first week of september, the rest of the year much more sedate, but always alive by local people.
Beautiful strechtes of beach lined with palm trees and from 2009 a newly wharf are inviting for romantic walks. Rest in the surrounding restaurants and coffee bars and enjoy local culinary delicacies such as fresh fish and pasta or the particular delicious ice cream. Local people are living here throughout the year so you find this place always tidy and alive with mostly open shops and restaurants.

This area is full of beautiful ancient barrocc towns like Ragusa Ibla, Noto or Modica. Easy to reach are the attractions of siracuse, Piazza Amerina, Mount Etna, Valley of the temple to count only a few of them.

Cultural monuments of the ancient, glorious barrocc towns with small alleys and stairways, nature reserves and wonderful beaches with crystal clear waters offer a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday - rounded off by many culinary delicacies and Sicilian wine is an unforgettable experience.
