Offering all the comforts of a real family home, your luxury Villa is located in Calaco in stunning Madeira. Accommodation is arranged on two floors - on the upper floor are four double bedrooms, three of which have direct access to a balcony. The master bedroom has a superb en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, another bedroom is also en suite, and there is a third bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms. Downstairs is a spacious living room with comfy leather sofas, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen for those who wish to enjoy family meals in the privileged seclusion of the poolside terrace. Standing in the exclusive residential area of “Cristo Rei”, Vivenda Belo Horizonte’s location is very peaceful, the facilities of the small resort of Garajau are just a kilometre away and include several good restaurants, as well as a bakery and mini-market.

Staying at the Villa

Staying at Vivenda means enjoying a magnificient location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean outside the city but just a few minutes from the centre of town of Funchal.
The guests enjoy full privileges. The villa is very pleasant place due to the warm and nice atmosphere, beautiful furniture, leather sofas, fire place, wonderful and exotic decorative pieces, amazing paintings on the walls, plenty of green plants all over the place, a small water fountain in the lobby.
Two large and spacious rooms plus mezanine in each room sharing the same outside bathroom. One Junior Suite with private bathroom including a nice jacuzzi. One more large and confortable room with private bath. Rooms are very well equipped with Tv, Wireless, Rádio Player, individual heating.
All rooms facing the blue sea view, offering the possibility to have breakfast on the large varanda or in the afternoon a drink, enjoying at the same time a nice Sunset.
In the garden área you can have a delicious meal at the barbecue corner, that you can do by yourself. It´s also possible to enjoy the shade from the palm trees, reading a nice book and listening the sound of the birds.
The villa offers a very nice large pool as well as green lawn area where you can enjoy sunbathing with total privacy. Real good solarium, having always in front the sea view.
Due the location of this nice villa you will enjoy the uniqueness of an amazing landscape as wells as the Charcos place considered Zen area unique in the World. Near by, you have like in Brasil the same kind of the famous statue of “Cristo Rei”. From there you can enjoy a nice view over the large Bay of the city.
There is the possibility to use the new infrastructure of the cable car a few yards from the house with the particularity of swimming in the warm sea water down the hill where the house is placed.
By the sea side you have a beach complex, were you have a very good seafood restaurant offering a chance of a memorable lunch or a romantic dinner with candle lights.
The stunning place overlooking the beautiful bay and harbour of Funchal at nigth looks like a creche due to the multi colored lamps shinning over the City of Madeira Island

Our Location

Vivenda Belo Horizonte is perched on a top cliff (142 meters) above the Garajau Natural Sea Reserve – a protected habitat of a rare fish, indigenous birds and even Mediterranean monk seals – this splendid villa is blessed with an uninterrupted 180º view over and across the Atlantic ocean, with the rugged Desertas Islands to the east and Garajau’s famous Statue of Christ to the west. Caniço de Baixo with its diving school, seawater swimming pool and a small rocky beach is just a little further and can be reached by car in 5 minutes, as can Caniço itself. For more cosmopolitan days or nights out, Funchal is just 9 km away, easily accessed via the new airport road.
For those who enjoy sporting pursuits, the Santo da Serra Golf Club is 20 km away and guests may also use the tennis courts of the nearby Dom Pedro Garajau Hotel (payable locally). Then again having managed to secure one of the few houses with their own private pool on Madeira for their holiday, guests may be loath to do much else apart from relaxing and enjoying the marvellous views.
