Your mountain retreat, self-catering accommodation is provided in 'The Orchard Apartment' in the grounds of Villa Tranquilo. We also offer B & B accommodation in 'The Garden Room'.

We are situated in the heart of the Spanish countryside where you will find peace, quiet and relaxation. Listen to the birds singing, enjoy bird watching, walking, taking photographs, swimming in the pool or even house hunting!

Our refurbished air-conditioned apartment offers the following facilities:
Lounge with sofas & Satellite UK TV (NEW)
Kitchen with full cooking facilities including a fridge/freezer and microwave
Separate bedroom with twin beds with en-suite walk-in shower.
Your own area outside to dry your towels and swimwear.
Private patio with unusual round wooden table with attached seating.
Use of swimming pool & NEW covered gazebo to offer you shade.
Depending on the length of your stay we provide a FREE food/drink welcome pack for self catering guests.
We also have "The Garden Room" which provides your Bed & Breakfast accommodation and has a TV provided to watch from our selction of DVD's.

Enough of the Pool? Where else can you go?

Sitting outside the small town of Albatera and only 25 minutes drive away from golden sandy beaches we have the mountains on our doorstep.

When you want a break from sitting round the pool or even fancy a little noise then there are many places to visit and activites to pursue.

We are fortunate enough to have many golf courses within a 40 minute drive from here and we are only 25 minutes from the salt lakes at Torrevieja and Santa Pola (see all the pink flamingoes).

Walk along the prom or visit the castle at Alicante or visit Torrevieja for some noise and ice-cream parlours. Take a train to Murcia to see the historic city or drive to Santa Pola to take a boat to Tabarca Island.

Whatever you enjoy it won't be far away!
