This large, luxury villa is situated in a quiet seculded spot with hardly any traffic in a rural setting, between the sea and village of Benissa - a historic town with its fabulous church and quaint village square and shops - near to Teulada, Calpe, Moraira and Javea. Bordering the Jalon Valley, which is famous for its wine making, where you can stock up on good quality wine from the local bodegas at extremely reasonable prices for the duration of your stay, in between sun bathing round the pool or on the most stunning Blue Flag white sandy beaches all only 5 minutes away.

The villa is set in the exclusive La Vina area of high class villas and is ideal for those looking for a relaxing rural break away from, but easily accessible to, busy tourist areas and beautiful sandy beaches as well as many local villages and family attractions inlcuding three local golf courses, tennis courts, caves, horse riding, carting and numerous other activities and entertainment.

Benidorm is only 25 minutes along the motorway where you will find various waterparks like Aqualandia, animal parks and zoos, and the fantastic Terra Mitica theme park. There is an abundance of superb but reasonably priced restaurants locally and in the nearby towns and other nightlife and shows like the famous Benidorm Palce on the outskirts of Benidorm, which is definitely worth a visit. The villa is tastefully and luxuriously furnished and very very spacious and was totally refurbished in 2007. It is light and sunny having triple aspect and takes full advantage of the indescribable breathtaking and truly panoramic views of terracing, mountains, the Mediterranean sea and Calpe Rock.

The ‘local' is Bar Canis which is a 2 minute drive or 20 walk - it provides the most fabulous food and speciality tapas with good wine and very cheaply - this is where the locals go to eat.

The local beaches are treasures - immaculately tended with lovely fine, clean, sand and washing/showering facilities and with plenty of places to eat on the promenades whilst soaking up the atmosphere. The water is clear, blue and warm - perfect for swimming and shallow and calm - making them a safe haven for children to enjoy the water - multilingual life-guards watch all the main beaches.

The Villa Accommodation and Facilities

This lovely detached villa sleeps 13 over 2 separate self-contained luxury apartments (upper 5, lower 8).

There is parking for one car within the gates of the villa and plenty of parking outside on the deserted road.

The property benefits from central heating (radiators) throughout which is ideal for those chilly spring evenings or for those wishing a winter retreat, air conditioning, electric fans and air purification. There are external blinds so that one can sleep in in the mornings, undisturbed by the sunlight which penetrates the villa.

The villa is divided in two apartments with balconies surrounding the entire villa.

The upper apartment -

Comprises 1 king sized double and 1 single bedroom, both with wardrobes, drawers & dressing & bed-side tables. There is a very large lounge with dining area with Italian dining suite & area with a futon to sleep a further 2 people. Total sleeping capacity is 5 people. The luxury bathroom has a bath, good shower, large sink and loo. The state of the art kitchen has fully fitted integrated appliances including full sized fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, griddle, coffee maker & grinder, smoothie maker as well as the usual small electrical items, crockery etc. The Kitchen is open plan into the lounge area, split by a granite breakfast bar. Lounge has 42' TV Satellite (UK channels and European etc), PC internet, DVD library, Hi-Fi, glass & side-board units & coffee & nests of tables. Double doors open to top balcony where there is a further dining suite overlooking the fabulous sea view.

The lower apartment -

Comprises 3 suites - one super-king sized leather sleigh bed, one king sized 4 poster and one triple with 3 singles, all are fully and luxuriously furnished and have 'wow' factor en suites. One bathroom has 6ft round bath with 3 showers over, his and hers marble basins, loo and bidet, another has free standing bath and his and hers basin and the other an amazing glass basin with glass tap and matching wet-room style shower with glass shower head. The open plan contemporary kitchen is fully fitted with utility room off with washer/dryer and there is an oak suede and leather dining suite and leather sofabed, TV and Hi-Fi. Total sleeping capacity is 8 people. There is a naya with table at the entrance to this apartment where you can watch sunrise and sunset over the sea and balconies from 2 of the bedrooms.

Over sized Pool

The beautiful 8m x 5m pool has a very thick pool cover which enables the pool to reach 36 degrees (summer) and keeps it warmer for longer into the autumn/winter in comparison to those without covers (Guests were swimming in the last week of October in 2007). The pool area has atmospheric coloured and lantern lighting for night swimming whilst poolside eating. Pool is not electrically heated. It is maintained by our pool man.

Dining

There are lots of different dining areas inside, outside on the balconies and round the pool and there are two BBQs, one gas and one traditional on the pool terrace.
