Charming jungle view cottage in historic downtown Makawao

On historic Baldwin Avenue, a hundred feet or so away from the very best Maui has to offer in terms of art and cuisine, you see what appears to be a typical Makawao home. On one side, a gate that takes you down a private walkway to your own 2 bedroom cottage. You walk into a cozy place with "all the comforts from home". A sliding glass door takes you to your own covered lanai overlooking a jungle-filled gulch. Seasonal fruits are available for your pleasure: banana, papaya, passion fruit, avocado, etc.

The location is ideal, because you're central to all that Maui has to show you: halfway up haleakala to the south, 30 minutes from Wailea and Kihei to the west, 15 minutes to Ho'okipa (surfer heaven) , Baldwin Park ("baby beach" ideal for families), and Pa'ia to the north, and 10 minutes from the "road to Hana" to the east.
